I was concerned that the slow would be too fast and spray dry ingredients- but haven't experienced that at all. I haven't tested it with oatmeal cookies but it handles just about everything else. The storage case is a bit of a pain with the cord- it tends to stick out and not everything fits well, but that's not that big of a deal in my book. I like that it comes with beaters and a whisk. Great size, great power, I'm glad I choose this one.

Works amazing

I did a lot of research on many different mixers. I read the reviews as well. This mixer is amazing. I had my mothers mixer, which I'm guessing was around 35 years old, so this was an amazing upgrade. I only gave it 4 stars for easy to hold because it is heavy. But I was willing to pay that price for the mixing capabilities. The power on this is the best. I make a lot of mints and this mixes through the mixture without any problems. It's a keeper!!!!

Along with a toaster I also bought my mom this mixer . She is back to baking and cooking because this mixer is lite and with her arthritis and other physical problems she couldn’t do much cooking! She loves how great it mixes and with the bottom acting as a compartment she’s not always looking for the attachments . Love this mixer. The spinners are wide, and they do a better job mixing things. I use it most for mashed potatoes and 7 minute icing in a double boiler.

GREAT mixer - awesome price!!

I purchased this as a replacement for a 'high end' mixer that had fantastic reviews. That mixer (at double the price) cannot hold a candle to THIS one. The high end mixer was highly rated (my fiance researched/purchased for me) even though it was only a 3-speed. Well....I used it 3 times, returned it and PURCHASED THIS ONE to replace it !!! Power is great and I like the beater storage feature. Highly recommended....

Great Handy Hand Mixer

I bought this mixer mostly for the convenience of having the snap-on case. I live in an apartment without a lot of drawers. It's very convenient to put everything in the case and just put it on a shelf in a cupboard, and I know when I need it again I'll be able to find everything without a hunt. Aside from that, the mixer is rugged enough for my use, and I use it frequently. It doesn't get bogged down, the controls are easy and convenient, and the beaters stay put until you want them off. I checked out the mixer at a local store before I bought in here (they had a demo model--but not one in a box), turns out I got a better deal here on Amazon anyway!
